Update on novel acne treatments: a narrative review focused on microbiome modulation and non-pharmacological approaches

Acne vulgaris is a chronic inflammatory condition with multifactorial pathogenesis. Despite the availability of numerous treatment options, there remains a need for safe, well-tolerated, and microbiome-preserving therapies. This narrative review explores recent advances in non-pharmacological acne treatments, focusing on various microbiome modulation strategies.
