Resumen

Law 20169, which regulates unfair competition in Chile, established a generic rule for the purpose of punishing unfair practices that are not specifically classified, known as the general clause. The purpose of this text is to present a thesis on how to give normative content to the general clause. In addition, a systematization of a set of common types or cases that constitute violations of the general clause will be introduced in accordance with the jurisprudence of the Chilean courts.
