Resumen
This essay interprets KrV A592-602/B620-630 not only as a place where Kant intends to refute the ontological argument, but rather as one where he faces a more radical question: how can the human understanding - considered from a logical-general point of view - predicate existence? This first part specifically analyzes the refutation of the ontological argument. The analysis will conclude that a faculty different from the understanding is also required for knowledge of the existent as such.
