La Identidad Constitucional de Latinoamérica y sus primeras manifestaciones (Latin America's Constitutional Identity and its first manifestations)

<b>Spanish Abstract:</b> Un punto común en el estudio histórico del constitucionalismo del continente americano ha sido centrarse en las labores de las colonias norteamericanas y en la propia Convención de Filadelfia. Con todo, el estudio de las primeras manifestaciones constitucionales del continente no puede omitir los desarrollos de otros procesos como, por ejemplo, el haitiano o aquellos que se observaron en la Nueva Granada entre 1810 a 1815. El presente texto hace una presentación de estos elementos dentro de un libro que expone las principales características del segundo grupo de Constituciones.<br><br><b>English Abstract:</b> A common point in the historical study of constitutionalism in the American continent has been to focus on the work of the North American colonies and on the Philadelphia Convention itself. However, the study of the first constitutional manifestations of the continent cannot omit the developments of other processes such as, for example, the Haitian process or those observed in New Granada between 1810 and 1815. The present text presents these elements within a book that exposes the main characteristics of the second group of Constitutions.
