Resumen

A novel core-shell K/Cu/SmCe@TiO2 catalyst is here reported being highly active on the selective reduction of nitric oxide with carbon monoxide under oxidizing conditions. It was found that the reaction proceeds with the generation of nitrates and nitrites adsorbed on the support and ionic nitrates adsorbed on alkaline sites. Full conversion of CO was achieved from 255 °C and 97% NO conversion was reached at 330 °C. © 2017 Elsevier B.V.
