Resumen
Fetal medicine has incorporated new therapies in previously untreatable fetuses and continues to develop alternatives. This creates decision dilemmas for pregnant women and for their doctors that are the subject of thorough discussion in many centers around the world. A responsible interpretation of the ethical principles will allow to deliver therapeutic alternatives to the fetuses, without transgressing the autonomy of the patients, or the local regulations, or the principles of medicine. The doctors in charge of developing therapies must have clear knowledge of the advances that exist, as well as their limitations, and the ethical principles that regulate them.
