Resumen

The editors are publishing this note to alert readers to concerns about this article (1). The veracity of the findings in this article is in question due to apparent instances of image duplication, including: • Figures 1C and 2A: the beta-tubulin bands (left and right side) appear to be duplicated. • Figures 2A and 6B: the p53 bands (left and right side) appear to be duplicated. Additionally, Fig. 6B contains two duplicates of this right-side panel, the other presented as p-p53 Ser 15. • Figures 4A and 6B: the beta-Tubulin bands and p-p53 (Ser 15) bands appear to be duplicated. • Figure 6B: right-side panels of p-p53 (Ser 15) and p53 appear to be duplicated. Imperial College London, the institution of the corresponding author at the time of publication, is currently investigating these concerns and the journal will provide an update once a resolution has been reached.
