Resumen
Christianism and transhumanism propose two paths of human redemption that, although at first glance may appear similar, are deeply opposed, becoming incompatible because of their motivations, goals and the attitudes. To support this thesis, we will show how each of them – Christianism and transhumanism– conceives human transcendence, freedom and moral life, the presence of evil in the world and, finally, the way in which man can be redeemed from it. Thus, it will be possible to appreciate that Christianism and transhumanism are two ways of understanding human life and its goals, which end up necessarily excluding each other.
