Abstract

The issue of incontinence has become a favourite theme of scholarly discussion in recent decades. Certainly it has been one of the philosophical topics that have contributed greatly to reintroduce ancient philosophers into contemporary philosophical discussion. While papers and books devoted to the issue of akrasia are, for the most part, focused on Socrates, Plato, and Aristotle, those dedicated to the Stoics are much scantier.
