Abstract

This paper characterizes the relationship between the empress María and the archduke Ernest, her son, during his adulthood as a politic-affective link that becoming a web of collaboration and reciprocity of favours and managements. So, the Empress was not only a mere protectress, but as well she received different profits. In other hand, this paper also identifies those negotiations in which the María and Ernst to support both, as well as it describes the strategies or actions that both employed.
