Abstract

We evaluate the performance of polarization-based modulation at 200 Mb/s over an optical free-space link with emulated turbulence in the lab. Detection uses thresholding from received noisy data without prior knowledge. A 1 km outdoor test is underway to assess system robustness in real conditions. Full results will be presented at the conference.
