Abstract

Nowadays, the non invasive study of fetal genetic material is a reality. By using advanced technology, you can now determine fetal Rh group, fetal sex, and determine fetal genetic disorders. NIPD (non invasive prenatal diagnosis) has generated a stir in the scientific community due to the great prospects opening up from the point of view of patient management. In this review you can see the development that has taken the NIPD and current clinical applications.
