Abstract
This article analyses the process of creation and reception of a series of works on Bernardino Rivadavia by Andrés Lamas in the 1880s. The aim is to examine how the press world in Buenos Aires functioned and the actions and interactions developing between the different agents involved, as well as to understand Lamas's role within the local and regional publishing and intellectual worlds.
