Abstract

We recently published in Muscles Ligaments and Tendons Journal a classification of platelet concentrates (commonly termed Platelet-Rich Plasma - PRP or Platelet-Rich Fibrin - PRF) for topical and infiltrative use in orthopedic and sports medicine1, based on previous research works and consensus articles developed by several experts in the field in various clinical disciplines2–4.
