Abstract
This article analyzes some procedural problems related to joint and several liability legal action, which arise from the thesis that multiple obligors are bound by the same obligation towards an obligee when such liability is declared. The purpose of this article to explain those problems with regard to res judicata, lis pendens, standing and binding judge-ments, taking into account the right to due process of law.
