Abstract

The present article offers a Kierkega­ardian evaluation of moral outrage as a source for political action.We discuss his work The Present Age, as well as his scat­tered comments on the revolutions of 1848.These are primarily negative com­ments, but they are not wholly undiffe­rentiated. Finally, the applicability of his views to such phenomena is discussed.
