Abstract
Lobulated capillary hemangioma with Leydig cell hyperplasia in the same nodule is exceptional. We report a case of a 72 year old male presenting with mammary asymmetry. Thirty seven years previously he had had a left sided testicular seminoma. Testicular ultrasonography of the right testicle revealed a 0.6. cm hypoecogenic nodule, which was solid with central and peripheral vascular flux. Beta-HCG, LH, estradiol and total testosterone levels were normal. Enucleation of the lesion was performed and an intraoperatory biopsy confirmed a benign lesion. The definitive diagnosis was lobulated capillary hemangioma with Leydig cell hyperplasia. To our knowledge, this is the first case reported in an adult.
