Abstract

The establishment of a clinical guideline for the intrathecal administration of morphine in the Chilean context is revealed as an imperative to guarantee patient safety through the effective management of adverse events and the optimization of postoperative analgesia. Through this guideline, we aim to standardize anesthetic protocols, optimize the management of hospital resources, and implement evidence-based medicine. This guideline contributes to minimizing variability in clinical practice and improving therapeutic outcomes, tailored to our local reality.
