Abstract
This study explores the perception of the effectiveness of a didactic guide designed to facilitate the creation of educational podcasts by secondary school teachers in Ecuador, in response to the growing need for innovative pedagogical tools in the digital context. The research was carried out under a quantitative and qualitative approach, combining structured surveys applied to 30 teachers and in-depth interviews to obtain a detailed vision of the perception and usefulness of the guide. The results reflect a positive acceptance of the didactic guide for the creation of podcasts, considered by teachers as an innovative tool in the classroom. Although some teachers lack prior experience in podcast production, they valued the accessibility and clarity of the guide, highlighting the tutorials as key support. It is concluded that the didactic guide contributes to improving the technological skills of teachers, promoting a more dynamic and inclusive learning environment and fostering a positive attitude towards the integration of digital resources in education. In addition, there is evidence of a limitation in the technical skills of teachers, given that less than fifty percent have had experience in producing a podcast autonomously. This suggests that the technological skills of teachers should continue to be strengthened.
