Project Details
Description
This project will propose an advanced uncertainty-informed multi-hazard risk assessment approach by integrating model calibration (uncertainty quantification) of material and component-level models using experimental data, development of state-of-the-art FE formulations for modeling and seismic response analysis of large-scale soil-foundation-structure-interaction systems including time-varying material deterioration and local scour effects, and propagation of uncertainties to determine fragility curves.
