The analysis presented considers the simulation of a set of grid synchronization algorithms subjected to specific grid disturbances, looking forward to TMEIC to being part of the Fast frequency response market using grid connected energy storage systems (ESS). Therefore, this document is composed of a theoretical description of the algorithms selected followed by simulations results in which the technical and functional requirements, such as hardware available to operate and UK grid code standards were considered to validate its performance. Finally, a discussion about the obtained results are carried out, proposing the best option for TMEIC requirements.
