From 2015 until today, my research activity has been aimed at civil liability in Family Law, the capacity of people and Registry Law, having Civil Law as a common feature. My academic interest in the first allowed to establish what were the elements of this responsibility and the applicable regime, that is, contractual or non-contractual. While in the second it allowed to decide if in the Chilean system a capable person could designate in advance, by virtue of the autonomy of the will, another who will take care of his person and property, when he is no longer in a position to protect himself. itself, and, if possible, determine what might be the best legal figure for people to express this will. In recent years, I have begun to develop the Registry Law line by investigating the registry qualification function, both in national and comparative law. Thus, the understanding and scope of the registry qualification function carried out by the CBR in Chile could be determined. Also, to solve some problems related to the Registry and the Civil Responsibility of the CBR in the context of its office, especially, the effectiveness of the pre-annotation in the Directory against any registration, the security that the Registry delivers through the legitimacy and public faith to bona fide third parties and the civil liability of the CBR if it has engaged in negligent conduct.

I studied law at the University of Talca, with outstanding academic results that allowed me to win the Scholarship for Academic Merit and, later, the Mecesup Scholarship. My doctoral training in law and master's degree is carried out at the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile.
