Specialised in Latin American Catholicism and Latin American political history (19th and 20th centuries). Author of: 'The Politics of Religion and the Rise of Social Catholicism in Peru, 1884-1935. Faith, Workers and Race before Liberation Theology' (Brill, 2017)
