Lawyer, PhD Law, professor of the courses Information Law, Advertising Law and Audiovisual Communication Law and director of the Doctoral Program in Communication at the Faculty of Communication of the Universidad de los Andes. Expert in constitutional and legal regulation of the media, freedom of expression and civil and criminal protection of people against the activity of information media.

Research Interests

Research lines: freedom of expression and new technologies, right to privacy, protection of personal data, right of access to information. Author of the books El Derecho a la Información en Chile (Lexis-Nexis editorial, 2005), La protección de datos personales y el derecho a la vida privada: régimen jurídico, jurisprudencia y derecho comparado (Editorial Jurídica, 2007) and Acciones Constitucionales contra Google (Librotecnia, 2016) and several collaborative books and articles on their fields of study.
