Professional with more than 30 years of experience in the field of dentistry, in dental clinical services through the exercise of the profession, and in services to users of the public health system. With experience and extensive knowledge in the field of legal medicine and forensic odontology, with 10 years of work in Legal Medical Service and at Universidad of Chile. His experience in the academic field and his knowledge of problems associated with health aspects has allowed him to develop legal medicine experience in medical and clinical practice. In addition, an interesting career as a consultant and advisor in different health public and private institutions, skills in training and public services direction. His professional experience has allowed him to develop management skills for work in different professional teams. In his professional performance he has demonstrated leadership skills; creativity, achievement orientation and willingness to innovation and change. He is currently a professor-researcher responsible for the Chair of Legal and Forensic Odontology at the Universidad de Los Andes and as a researcher at the Biomedical Research Center of the same university. Actually, his main contribution to science is related to research in basic investigations and clinical applications in dental sciences.
