Professional Information

Mauricio Larraín Errázuriz earned his PhD in Economics from the University of California, Berkeley. He then served as a Finance professor at Columbia Business School for about five years. After returning to Chile, he took up academic positions and regulatory roles, including as Commissioner and Vice President of the Comisión para el Mercado Financiero (CMF) of Chile. 

Research interests

His research interests focus on corporate and international finance, capital markets, financial regulation, financial openness and income inequality.
