Dr. Recabarren is an associate professor in Facultad de Ingeniería y Ciencias Aplicadas, Universidad de los Andes, Chile. He received his PhD degree in Computer Engineering from Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile.
Research interests
His research interests include engineering education, human computer interaction, technology in education, learning analytics, and STEM education in pre‐K–12 levels.
Teaching
Cuenta con una amplia trayectoria en docencia de pregrado, impartiendo cursos en las áreas de programación, ingeniería de software y proyectos de innovación.
Ha sido guía de más de 50 proyectos de título en las especialidades de computación e ingeniería industrial, así como de 6 tesis de estudiantes del Magíster en Ciencias de la Ingeniería.
