Dr. Masami Yamamoto Cortés is a medical doctor graduated from the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile, with a specialization in Obstetrics and Gynecology. He further advanced his academic training through a fellowship in Maternal-Fetal Medicine at the University of Versailles, France.
Since 2005, he has served as a faculty member at the Faculty of Medicine of Universidad de los Andes. Simultaneously, he is part of the medical team at Clínica Universidad de los Andes, where he specializes in maternal-fetal medicine.
His professional career has been marked by a strong integration of teaching, research, and clinical practice. He has focused on the management and care of high-risk pregnancies, combining scientific knowledge with advanced surgical expertise.
