Personal profile
Professional Information
I am a Full Professor at ESE Business School, where I also serve as Academic Director of ESE and Director of the Work and Family Center. I earned my Ph.D. and Master of Science from IESE Business School at the University of Navarra. I am also a collaborator of IESE’s International Center for Work and Family (ICWF), with whom I conduct various research projects on Work–Family Balance, Career Development, and Female Leadership.
I also serve on the Board of Directors of BBosch S.A. and on the advisory council of USEC.
Research interests
I am interested in studying Work–Family Balance from the perspective of leadership impact and how it influences the well-being of individuals, families, organizations, and society. Work–Family Balance has many effects—one of them being on business productivity and employee health, among others—but it also directly affects female leadership, since one of the explanations for the low participation of women in the labor market is the care crisis. For this reason, at the Work and Family Center, we study how to develop organizations where caring and working are complements rather than substitutes.
Teaching
