Research Interests

I am a special education teacher with extensive experience in early childhood development research. My area of research is related to the teaching of early math skills, the development of self-regulation, and the instructional practices of preschool teachers. I am a member of the Pathways to Literacy Lab at the University of Michigan Ann Arbor. I am currently working on the publication of my doctoral dissertation, and researching self-regulation skill development and parenting practices with a research team in Mexico. "
