    Personal profile

    Research interests

My projects have explored the contributions of personality factors and social comparison-based emotions as potential antecedents of moral disengagement. This research project is relevant as it contributes to a better understanding of the psychological processes by which people engage in harmful behaviours through the selective reconstruction of their moral judgments, which, ultimately, would allow them not to suffer the psychological costs associated with such conduct. In addition, I am interested in developing new research projects that explore the psychological bases of social trust and its impact on ethical decision making.
