    Professional Information

I’m an academic with a creative profile and experience in the audiovisual world. As a university professor I have cultivated a close mentoring relationship with my students and I have guided projects inside and outside the class. I’ve taught, amongst others, the following courses: Documentary, Audiovisual Narratives, Multimedia Narratives, Multimedia Project, Audiovisual Production Workshop and Analysis of the Audiovisual Images. As a researcher I’ve started investigating Transmedia Storytelling, tv shows and films. As an audiovisual creator I’ve directed documentaries, amongst them Moas Ark (2018, official selection, Chicago on Screen Film Festival) Lighthouses At The End Of The World (2015, premiered in a chilean cable tv station) and 3 Flags (2010, premiered in a chilean cable tv station). In the research world I’m interested in continuing deepening my knowledge in Transmedia, I’m particularly interested in the narrative coherence and elements that call the attention of audiences to get involved with these narrative worlds. I’m also interested in researching Documentaries in an academic context, particularly in their relationship to fiction and reality.
