    Dr. Jorge Alé Chilet earned his Ph.D. in Economics from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem, where he also completed his M.A. 

    He currently serves as Assistant Professor in the Faculty of Economic and Business Sciences at Universidad de los Andes (Chile), contributing to research in industrial organization and market policy. 

    Research interests

    Dr. Alé Chilet’s research interests lie in industrial economics, in particular the consequences of market structure on welfare distribution and inequality. 

    Teaching

    On the teaching side, Dr. Alé Chilet teaches within the Faculty of Economic and Business Sciences at Universidad de los Andes, focusing on industrial organization, advanced microeconomic theory, regulation economics and competition policy.
