    Joaquín Zuleta Carrandi es doctor en Literatura por la Universidad de Navarra y licenciado en Lengua y Literatura Hispánica por la Universidad de Chile.

    Se desempeña como profesor asistente ordinario en el Instituto de Literatura de la Facultad de Filosofía y Humanidades de la Universidad de los Andes, donde dicta cursos de Literatura Colonial e Hispanoamericana y Literatura del Siglo de Oro.

    Research interests

    My areas of interest are Colonial Literature and Golden Age Literature. I have researched relationships and chronicles of the Indies, as well as colonial epics.

    My main area of ​​study so far is the relationships of Pedro Sarmiento de Gamboa. In the area of ​​the Golden Age I'm interested in golden comedy, poetry and meter.
