Professional Information

She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Philosophy and Education and a Ph.D. in Philosophy from Universidad de los Andes. Her work focuses on contemporary French philosophy, political philosophy, and feminist theory—an area she further developed at the Berkeley Institute in California. She has taught undergraduate and graduate courses, published in national and international journals, and presented at conferences and universities across Latin America. She also served as Director of the Master’s Program in Political Studies.

In addition, she actively participates in public debate through media and research centers. She has been recognized with the awards “100 Young Leaders” (2021) and “100 Women Leaders” (2022), and represented Chile at a conference on democracy in Spain (2023).

Research interests

Her work focuses on contemporary French philosophy, political philosophy, and feminist theory—fields she also explored during her time at the Berkeley Institute in California.

She is the principal investigator of the 2025 Fondecyt Initiation Project entitled “Justice and Interdependence: Feminist Ethics of Care from the Perspective of Derridean Ethics”. This project aims to integrate Jacques Derrida’s philosophical thought with feminist ethics of care in order to propose more inclusive and critical theoretical frameworks.

Among her recent publications is the article “History, Truth, and Politics: A Critique of Michel Foucault from Raymond Aron” (2024), published in Universum.

Teaching

She has taught undergraduate and graduate courses, published in national and international journals, and presented at conferences and universities across Latin America. She also served as Director of the Master’s Program in Political Studies.
