Academic of the Faculty of Communication of the Universidad de los Andes, Chile. Doctor in Latin American Studies from the University of Salamanca, Spain, and obtained a diploma in Politic and Security from the Center for Hemispheric Defense Studies, National University, United States. His areas of interest are the role of the media for democracy and the monitoring of corruption in Latin America, political communication and media memory.
