Enrique Ignacio Brahm García, PhD

Full Professor of the Faculty of Law and the Institute of History of the Universidad de los Andes (Chile).

Graduated as a lawyer in 1981, he has a degree in Law (1979) and in History (1991) from the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile and a Doctor of Law from the University of Frankfurt / M. (1985).

He has worked as a professor at the Faculty of Law of the P. Universidad Católica (1986 - 1996) and at the Universidad Diego Portales (1988 - 1999). He has also been a professor in the Master in Humanities at the Adolfo Ibáñez University (2000 -2002) and in the Master in Military History and Strategic Thought at the Army War Academy (2006 - 2014)

His areas of interest are the legal and political history of Chile; military history and contemporary universal history with an emphasis on world wars and totalitarian regimes.

It dictates the courses of History of Law, History of Institutions and History of the 20th century and is part of the faculty of the doctoral programs of both academic units).
