Eduardo Jequier Lehuedé has a degree in Legal and Social Sciences from the Universidad Concepción, Chile, a Master's in Business Law from the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile and a Doctor in Law from the University of Valencia. Spain. He is a tenured professor at the University of Los Andes, Chile, and he is a professor of Commercial Law at the Faculty of Law. He is also a member of the Ibero-American Institute of Bankruptcy Law, bankruptcy arbitrator of the Superintendency of Insolvency and Re-entrepreneurship of Chile, arbitrator of the Conflict Resolution Center " ".cl" "of NIC Chile and mediator of the Arbitration and Mediation Center of the Santiago Chamber of Commerce. Author of various monographic books (7) and director of numerous collective works and articles in specialized magazines. He also works as a lawyer. main lines of research are alternative dispute resolution mechanisms -MASC-, in particular mediation and arbitration ; bankruptcy law; and commercial corporate law.
