Professional Information
Dr. Daniela Albers completed her Dental studies at Universidad Mayor, Santiago de Chile. Afterwards she studied a Master of Biostatistics at Universidad de Chile.
Since then, she has dedicated her work to teaching students Biostatistics and Research Methodology. She has worked with different health care professionals to analyze their ongoing studies in not only oral health areas but also in many other medical areas.
Now days she is studying a Master in Bioinformatics at International University of Valencia, Spain.
Teaching
Since 2012 she has been teaching at different universities in her field of specialty.
Now a days, she teaches Research Methodology and Biostatistics at the Dental Faculty at Universidad San Sebastian and Universidad Mayor in different postgraduate programs. She also dictates the Biostatistics course at the PhD in Dental Science and participates in the Biostatistics courses I & II at the Master in Investigation and Innovation at Universidad de los Andes.
Research interests
She collaborates with researchers from Universidad Los Andes, Universidad Mayor and Universidad San Sebastian. And has special interest in analyzing the linkage between periodontal status and systemic disease with special focus in pathologies during pregnancy.
