Professional Information

Bachelor’s Degree in Mathematics from the Universidad Autónoma de Nuevo León (UANL), with a Master’s and Ph.D. in Science with a specialization in Mathematics from the Center for Research in Physical and Mathematical Sciences at the same university. Her area of specialization focuses on the study of supply chain problems modeled through bilevel and biobjective programming, as well as problems of green logistics and  circular economy. She has presented work at national and international conferences, including SMIO, CLAIO, IFORS, EURO, EWGLA, and OPTIMA.

She began her teaching career in 2017 at the Universidad del Valle de México, Tecnológico de Monterrey, and the Faculty of Mathematics at UANL. In 2019, she received the Profesor Egregius Award for Academic Excellence at the Universidad del Valle de México. In 2022, she conducted a postdoctoral research stay at the Center for Research in Physical and Mathematical Sciences at UANL, where she taught an Operations Research course, supervised master’s students, and coordinated graduate seminars.

Since July 2024, she has been residing in Santiago, Chile, where she joined the Faculty of Engineering and Applied Sciences at Universidad de los Andes. She currently teaches courses in Optimization, Probability, and Logistics. She is an active member of ICHIO and the Circular Textile Foundation and participated in the organization of the Chilean Transportation Congress 2025 and OPTIMA 2025. Additionally, she supervises undergraduate theses focused on circular economy initiatives for the textile industry.
