I am an associate professor in the ordinary career of the dental faculty of the Universidad de Los Andes, Santiago, Chile. The areas of interest in research profiles are, bioengineering associated with regenerative therapy of human dental pulp. I am working with dental stem cells since 2010 in the field of regenerative endodontics. Our team was the first to conduct a controlled clinical trial using allogeneic stem cells (2020) to regenerate human dental pulp. This research was titled "Development of an Innovative Therapeutic Strategy Based on the Use of a New Cellular Product for the Regeneration of Human Dental Pulp." This study was published in 2020 in the prestigious journal " Journal of Dental Research". We also develop a product based on alogeneic stem cells that are in the process of being patented. The second line of research that we are developing is just starting is" Biomarkers for diagnosis in endodontics". My work team has awarded competitive funds such as FONIS, CORFO L1, and CORFO L2. In terms of publications, I have published articles in prestigious journal from 2014 to date.
