Arturo Basaure received his M.Sc. in engineering from Helsinki University of Technology (Finland) and his Ph.D. from Aalto University (Finland) and Pontificia Universidad Católica (Chile). He has worked as an IT consultant and in the financial industry. He has been involved in several international research projects, being his main research area the economics of telecommunications, including spectrum regulation, telecom industry structure and competition, platforms economics and Internet of things.
