Research interests

Alejandro Romero Seguel holds a law degree from the University of Valparaíso and a Ph.D. in Law from the University of Navarra, Spain. He is currently a Professor of Procedural Law at the Faculty of Law of Universidad de los Andes in Chile.

His academic work focuses on civil procedure, arbitration, and issues of legal preclusion. He has published extensively in specialized legal journals and is the author of works such as Res Judicata in Chilean Civil Procedure and the Course on Civil Procedural Law series.

In addition to his teaching activities, Professor Romero Seguel serves as an arbitrator at the Arbitration and Mediation Center of the Santiago Chamber of Commerce.
