Ángel Soto holds a Ph.D. in History from the Complutense University of Madrid, an MBA from ESE Business School, a Master's in Political Science, and a Bachelor's in History. He is currently a Full Professor at the Faculty of Economic and Business Sciences at UANDES. His academic career is characterized by a solid interdisciplinary background and a commitment to research and teaching in the fields of social and economic sciences.

His research focuses on the economic history of Chile and Latin America, with an emphasis on critical thinking and Latin American studies
