El Centro de estudios e investigación social SIGNOS de la Universidad de los Andes, Chile, es una comunidad académica interdisciplinaria que busca contribuir al conocimiento de la realidad por medio de la investigación en las distintas áreas de las ciencias sociales.
El objetivo del Centro es contribuir al debate público con un trabajo de calidad, y desde la perspectiva de un respeto irrestricto a la dignidad humana. Asimismo, asume la pluralidad metodológica y la variedad de perspectivas como características fundamentales de su trabajo.
