The Department of Diagnostics and Surgical Sciences is developed in the field of the definition of pathologies that affect the individual through Semiology, the clinical examination of the patient and the complementary examinations that allow to reach an adequate Diagnosis of the problem that the patient presents. 

This department is made up of the specialties of Semiology and Oral Surgery, Imaging, Neuroanatomy, Buco maxillofacial Implantology and Medical Psychopathology. The areas of Imaging, Semiology and Oral Surgery and Implantology teach specialty degrees only. 


The lines of research are in stem cells, regeneration of soft and hard tissues, naturally guided regeneration, treatment modalities in oral implantology.
